The Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is dedicated to creating communities where children and families thrive. We address the needs of children and youth ages 0-18 in four main areas: Early Care and Education, Healthy Living, Parent Education and Youth Development.

We are located in Downtown Monroe, Louisiana and we serve the northeast region of Louisiana which includes the following parishes:
Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union, and West Carroll. |

OUR COMMITMENT
The Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is committed to listening intently while we take a stand against institutional racism. Since our founding more than twenty years ago, the Children’s Coalition has focused on creating communities where children and families thrive - now, more than ever, we stand by this commitment to ensure all children and families have access and support, care and basic supplies amid so much uncertainty. We will work for racial equity inside and outside of our organization.
There is so much more to be done, but we commit ourselves to the well-being of everyone in our community and to problem-solving systems and structures that will dismantle disparities and social determinants. With listening and action, we will make positive change and will continue to create safe and healthy communities where children and families thrive.

SCHOOL READINESS TAX CREDITS
Donations made from businesses in Louisiana are Dollar-for-Dollar refundable tax credit on Louisiana state taxes and are designed to support quality child care and education. Louisiana businesses can donate up to $5,000 and get it back as a credit against your company’s state income taxes or as a direct rebate from the state treasury.
