SCHOOL READINESS TAX CREDITSAs a child care resource and referral agency, the Children’s Coalition promotes the school readiness tax credits to support child care centers, providers, parents and resource and referral agencies.
By choosing a quality child care center, parents become eligible for up to 200% in school readiness tax credits. There are two ways to get a quality child care referral. |
CONCERNS ABOUT A CHILD CARE CENTER?
If you have concerns about a licensed child care center or registered family child care home, please contact the Louisiana Department of Education's Licensing Division at [email protected] or by calling (225) 342-9905 or toll-free at 1-877-453-2721. You can use the same information to report a center that you suspect is operating without a license.
SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT
If you suspect that a caregiver or parent is committing child abuse or neglect, please contact the Department of Children and Family Services at 855-4LA-KIDS (855.452.5437) toll free 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
