The Children's Coalition located in Downtown Monroe, Louisiana and we serve the northeast region of Louisiana which includes the following parishes:
Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union, and West Carroll .

*Weather permitting – follow us on Facebook for possible changes. Please note that safety must come first. The Children’s Coalition along with 22Dragons, the racing management company, have the discretion to delay (or cancel in extreme circumstances) the event due to lightning, heavy rain, hail or high winds. No participants will be allowed on the water in lightning conditions.

FESTIVAL DETAILS

Parking - Festival area is at 3430 Loop Road, near the Forsythe intersection and across the bayou from the Bayou DeSiard Country Club.
We recommend parking at Walgreens on Forsythe – a pickup service will be offering free rides from 8:30am-4:30pm
We encourage carpooling or ride sharing.
Spectator Area - Spectators are encouraged to watch the races from this area. No recreational swimming will be allowed in the bayou during the event. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, however no tents will be allowed in this area. We recommend wearing sunscreen and hats.
No Glass – No Grills – No Motorized Vehicles – No Pets – No Political Signage
Food - Participants and spectators can purchase food and drinks from participating food truck vendors. All food truck vendors have donated to the Children’s Coalition, so you are encouraged to support them!
Rowers – Make sure to bring 1) Drivers License if age 18+ 2) Closed toe shoes 3) Clothes you don’t mind getting wet or muddy. Do not bring valuables that you may lose while rowing.

Etiquette - All participants and spectators are expected to treat the officials, organizers, volunteers, their fellow competitors and spectators with respect. Any abuse of this fact witnessed during the festival is to be reported to the organizing committee who will review the situation and take appropriate action that may include expulsion of a participant or crew from the festival. All rowers are expected to respect the rules and regulations of racing and the judgment of the officials. Unsportsmanlike towards the officials in this regard may bring about further penalty and risk disqualification the infracting rowing team

FOOD VENDORS

BECOME A FOOD VENDOR

Approval of your request to be a food vendor and type of food truck or tent you will use..Approval of your menu food and drink items.
Inform us if you need access to a generator for power.
Inform us of your set up time on Friday April 12 (between 9am-3pm).
Provide us with your contact information.
Provide a copy of your Certificate of Liability Insurance in advance of the event.
For your $300 donation payment, please pay no later than Saturday at the end of the event. We can accept cash or credit card or pay online.
