EARLY CHILDHOOD COMMUNITY NETWORKS
The Children's Coalition serves as the Lead Agency for the Early Childhood Community Networks in Richland, Morehouse and Ouachita parishes. As the Lead Agency the Children’s Coalition:
Each network includes all publicly funded early childhood programs within the parish. This includes Type III licensed child care centers, public school pre-school programs, Head Start, Early Head Start and private schools participating in the Nonpublic School Early Childhood Development (NSECD). The program partners in each parish work together to ensure access to high quality publicly funded early childhood programs.
- Coordinates Early Childhood and Pre-K Enrollment
- Conducts administrative functions on behalf of the Louisiana Department of Education
- Coordinates CLASS observations assuring that accurate observations are conducted for all Toddler and Pre-K classrooms
