There are several free Education Stations in East Carroll parish. Each offering East Carroll’s youngest learners educational opportunities to jump start skills needed for a successful future.
REACH OUT & READReach Out and Read sites support families by providing developmentally appropriate books for children aged birth to five-year-old during wellness visits. Reading together promotes healthy brain development and helps families build meaningful bonds.

DEVELOPMENTAL CORNERThe Developmental Corners support families with examples of developmentally appropriate play. Handouts on developmentally appropriate play are also located in the Developmental Corners.

LITTLE FREE LIBRARYLittle Free Libraries support families in their communities by providing books for children to take and return to any Little Free Library. The goal is for families to borrow a book, read it, return it then replace it with another book.

BIG BOOKS ACTIVITY KITSBig Books, cute storytelling props and engaging activities, are everything you need for lively literature-based learning! Families can sign out the kits to help support children learn with developmentally appropriate materials.
