EARLY CHILDHOOD GUIDE FAQ

1. How to apply for CCAP?
X4 most recent check stubs, state ID,  all children birth certificates (under the age of 18-years), updated shot records, daycare choice  (should you need assistance with locating a daycare, please fill out referral attached and submit to office for list of centers within your parish) ​

Working at least 20-hours a week, attending school or training program as a full-time student.

3. Who must be included on CCAP application?
All children in household composition – under the age of 18-years, spouse, foster child(ren)
4. Can I receive childcare while looking for employment?
Yes! You must submit the Welcome page of a created account on, HIRE ONE.

5. Where can I complete a finger scan?
Contact the TOTS location within your parish to schedule your appointment.

​6. Are you looking to change provider/daycare?
You must fill out a CCAP 10 form and obtain a zero-balance letter from your current provider.
